International Suicide Research Summit AFSP partners with the International Academy for Suicide Research to gather suicide researchers from all fields to share their work and ideas bi-annually. Fund New ResearchAs the largest private funder of suicide research, AFSP funds neurobiological, psychosocial, and genetic research, as well as studies to develop treatments and community programs to find the best ways to understand and prevent suicide. This year we have set underrepresented populations, evaluation of technological tools for suicide prevention and surviving suicide loss as priorities, in order to stimulate new research in these areas. Innovation Grants AFSP offers Innovation Grants for all levels of experience across multiple disciplines to cultivate the field of suicide prevention research.
