b'safeTALKA LivingWorks program, safeTALK is a half-day alertness workshop that prepares anyone over the age of 15, regardless of prior experience or training, to become a suicide-alert helper.Signs Matter: Early DetectionCreated in partnership with Legal One and Rutgers, this online program shows educators how and when to refer K-12 students to counseling staff or administration. The training fulfills many state requirements for educators to have two hours of instruction on suicide prevention. Three of the program vignettes demonstrate important issues like signs of mental health concerns in a younger student, bullying and LGBTQ+ issues, and how to match families and communities with mental health professionals.Soul ShopSoul Shop is a one-day training workshop designed to equip faith leaders, clergy,staff, lay pastors, and faith-based clinicians with the resources and guidance they need to foster hope and healing in their community. The goal of this workshop is to familiarize participants with the incidence and impact of suicideon their faith communities, and train them to address issues related to suicide.
